Nominations

To be eligible to be selected as an inductee into the DeKalb County Sports Hall of Fame any candidate must be any one of the following:

A native of DeKalb County; or attended high school in DeKalb County; or a resident of DeKalb County for a period of time sufficient to be considered a resident.
Over the age of forty (40) years old
Inactive from the athletic sport which has brought them fame for a period of five (5) year

A person nominated but not elected for five (5) years shall have their name removed. To be reconsidered that person will have to be re-nominated.
